Ok, I have a couple different questions/options here.

1. Does anyone know the Regedit to be able to install 4.3 on windows 2k3 without having Cisco Hardware?

I do not have the software, but I do have it installed on a Cisco Server and plan on converting it into a VM.

2. If not I will virtualize 4.0, since i have the software. Is there a way to put 4.0 on Server 2003? I've found the forum for putting it on Windows 2000, but that will be my last option.

Excuse my ignorance here, but I didn't think virtualization was supported on CM prior to rls 5 (or maybe it was 6).

only version 8 is supported by cisco and only on cisco vmware.
He is looking for a hack.
The hack is somewhere in this forum by the way. You just need to search for it.
A couple of things.
You can't run 4.0 on WIN2003 only 2000.
Why would you even want to mess with a version this old?
It is not supported any more and even for a lab it's so old it's worthless.

Maybe trying to breathe life back into an old system for himself or end user w/no budget. I've seen several duct tape phone systems cobbled together by aftermarket resellers trying to beat the licensing system - then the reseller vanishes & the client is left holding the bag when it craters & he tries to get service. A lot of independent Hotel/Motels are notorious suckers scrounging for secondary market systems.
