Installing Borland C++ 5.02 1

Installing Borland 5.02 in folder BC5-1 and got message that a previous version already exists on my harddrive. This previous version is in folder BC5 on the C drive. Can I remove it by just deleting folder BC5? I attempted to do this but got a message that deleting it may affect some programs.

hello xlav! if you want to install borland C++ and if there is already installed, delete the previous version first from ur harddriver as you stated you attempted ..delete it completely it won't make any difference..
first delete it and delete its information from ur windows registry or use registry mechanic (can be downloaded from pcworld.com or download.com) then install borland in a directory you want ..first make the directory before installing or do it after coz then the setup will make it by itself... ....>>that's it..
