I recently installed BDE v3.12 core dll's and then version v5.01 BDE update on a Windows 2008 Application Server we have setup for running Crystal reports.
The reason I installed this software is we needed to gain access to paradox data we have stored from a legacy application that was written many years ago.
My question surrounds licensing for this product. My assumption is that we were licensed for the original BDE application with the original Paradox application (Version 4.5). Is this a fair assumption? I would like to confirm that our licensing is up to date and valid.
Note - our paradox data is version 4.5 tables.
