Hi,

We are in the midst of an upgrade from version 9
to version 11.5. I've got the basic package running
fine but can't figure out how to install the client
agent for windows. I've got all the files on my
backup server but don't know what to do to push
them out to another machine. Has anyone done this?
Also, the trial version doesn't seem to have the
agent for linux. I assume this works but I'd feel
warm and fuzzy if I heard from others that there
are no problems.

We didn't need any agents with R9 and getting the
setup is new to me.

Thanks.

Hi,

To install windows agent, run CD:\intelnt\ntagent\setup.exe on the target machine.

Agents for linux/unix are on a separate CD.

BAB11.5 SP3 :
FTP://ftp.ca.com/CAproducts/unicenter/AXWBAS/nt/GA/QO86307/CD1.iso

Agents CD 11.5 SP3 :
FTP://ftp.ca.com/CAproducts/unicenter/AXWBAS/nt/GA/QO86307/Agents.iso

(English, French, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese language editions.)

Regards.

For windows you can push the clients out using the installer from the server. Run the install again only this time select remote install you can the add your clients and select the agents you need.
