I have recently installed a Duel T1/Pri Card in my Church's Avaya IPO 500 System and implemented 24 new lines over T1 to my Church's phone system. Almost everthing is working fine, except, that now IP Office Manager is reporting that I have more channels availible than I have licenses for. I understand this as I only purchased licensing for the 24 channels via the first side of the T1 card. I know that the second side of the T1 card can be "turned off" however I cannot for the life of me find any information on how to do it. Can anyone help? :)

In here, drop all the number of channels on the right down to what you have licenced (8 out the box) :)

amriddle01, you rock! Thanks. BTW, I don't know if anyone has ever noticed, but, as In my case, I have 24 channels, and 16 licenses. All 24 channels work perfectly, it (IPO Mananager) just throws back the warning message about licensing issue. I just don't like seeing the errors.

Now, I guess, I need to buy 8 licenses for channels 17-24. Any bids? LOL JK

They may show as in service, but you will not get calls out the unlicenced channels, you will only get a total of 16 calls at once regardless of the actual channel number it uses....unless Avaya messed up :)
