Installing ArcServe 6.1 Manager on a PC

Trying to install Arcserve 6.1 Manager onto a Win95 PC that needs to manage an existing ArcServe installation on a Novell server. When I run the programme I get some stupid message about a BTRIEVE(???) thing that hasn't started yet when I browse the CD threr is no mention of a BTRIEVE whatever. Can anyone shed any light here?

I think Btrieve is a kind of database used by ARCserve. What message are you getting? If it's just a warning that you should upgrade to a later version, I have always ignored that and had no problems. Or will it not install the manager at all?
