Installing Apache on a 64bit server

Is there a version of apache that installs on a 64bit server or how do you install apache on a 64bit server? I'm running Linux Fedora 7 64bit. I get this error when doing the "make" command.

/usr/lib/libexpat.so: could not read symbols: File in wrong format
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Are you installing this using an .RPM or from source?
