installing Adobe PDF converter manually

i have adobe reader8. Is it possible that i get hold of the original Adobe PDF Converter printer and install it so that i can make PDFs as well.

I know there are third party converters but i want the original Adobe converter and dont wanna go for the Adobe Acrobat Professional or Elements option

Short answer - no. The adobe virtual printer works with Acrobat Distiller, part of the Acrobat package, from which it inherits all settings, etc.
