Installing ACCPAC on Linux Server

You need Samba for the shared folders, and Pervasive for the database.

I have Samba and have created the shared folders.
1. Installed Pervasive 9.5 for Linux on the server.
2. Installed ACCPAC for Windows on the XP worstation but pointing to the shared folders on the Linux box for the Shared Program and Data folders
3. I am able to create the databases on the Pervasive control centre.
4. My problem is that when I try to create the company and system databases using the ACCPAC Database Setup utility, the process is failing. On the second screen, after specifying all the parameters, the system does not respond when you click the OK command button. However if I click the Cancel button, I am able to exit.
What could be the problem?

I don't know, I've never done a Linux install. I suspect it's insufficient permissions on the Shared folder.
