Installing a Tape Drive in a Novell OS

Tek Tips,

I have a HP Proliant ML350 Server with Novell Netware 5 installed.

I recently purchased a dlt40 tape drive to install. My prblem is I have never installed any hardware/drivers in a novell environment. Could anyone assist me with steps and/or commands please..?
