Installing a new IDE Controller

Hi! I will apreciatte if someone could help me with this matter. I have a Pentium II 266 Mhz, with 64 Mb of ram, and I have 2 hardisks in the primary IDE channel. The secundary IDE is ocupied with a CD, and a CDRW. Now I have a ZIP 100 and I wold like to install it in the PC. I'v bougth a new IDE controller with the finality to work with the ZIP 100 as a Terciary channel, but I can't get it working! Can please someone help me? What I'm doing wrong? My OS is Windows 2000 Professional. Thanks.
