That device will only work on a Norstar system.

Your best bet is to get something like a Viking RC-2A and program it's DN as a HOT D key on any given phone you want to give door control access to.

Probably not. If you look on the web though, do a search on door phone and look for analog door phones. These will just connect up to an analog line, just set them up for ring down to the extension you want it to go to and you are done.
Bogen has some, as does Valcom, and many other manufacturers.

Oh wait, scratch that... that's just the opener.

What is it are you looking to do? Are you looking to have the door open remotely? If so - the opener RC-2A will work in parallel to any analog phone (you'd choose a new 500 phone in LD 20).

Go to Viking's website - they have good documentation on how to to do this.

If you just need a door phone itself - program it up as a 500. There are many vendors out there that make door phones - just make sure it's an analog phone.

Guys,

I am looking for a Analog line door phone which we will be used to communicate with security while coming inside the office.

Right now i we are using a Cortelco 255400VBA20M Wall fully modular black phone.

it is programmed to DN as a HOT D and security will be answering the calls all the time.

but issue here is these phones are getting hit by the trucks and some time phone box is left open which is making us to install them again and again.

so we want to get rid of all this hassles and get a door phone at the security gates.

Thanks for your time guys.

Regards,
Ansar

OK - yeah - just gotta get something that's made for an industrial environment that mounts flush to the wall. Look around - any analog phone that meets these requirements will do. You already have the programming in place.
