Usually with CICS I set up so a pool is prime line. With the cordless/ATA I do the same so they don’t have to dial 9. Then I print up a little cheat sheet of some codes and tape it to the back of the cordless set. Like:
Hold=flash2
Page=flash*631
CICS are typically smaller installs, and my customers generally want to be able to say “you have a call on Line X” so with a cordless you have to instruct how to transfer the call to the ATA DN, because I don’t think you can access a specific held line with codes. Does anyone know if that can be done? It might just be easier to train them in park and page depending on the circumstance.
