Has anyone ever installed the Ethernet daughterboard on a Opt. 11, There is no Call Server or Media Gateway. I'm just trying to connect the two cabinets together. I got these two daughterboards instead of the fiber/ Fiber reciever cards.

I have configured my ELAN, changed the Mask, added the MAC address, it still never sees the other cabinet.

I've also tried straight cables, crossover cables, flip-flop the dual-port daughter board, with the single port, moved the cards from slot 2 to slot 1. I'm just all confused.

Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Could you post your NT Part no. and vintage of the IP daughter boards.

NTDK99 is the single port
NTDK83 is the dual port

You need to configure IPM and IPR in LD 117
Refer to thread798-1281145 but take only IPM/IPR parts
If cabinet connected through a switch, use straigh cable. If connected directly use a cross cable
