My wife has a G4 with two hard drives and OS X. She has been having problems installing software for some time now. She just did a clean install of OS X on her second hard drive. Now she is installing End Notes with Installer VISE and the program is hung up. It says it is "Searching Macintosh HD" and you can hear the hard drive seeking "in a loop". Note: OS is NOT on "Macintosh HD", it is on a new hard drive. The only thing I can think of to do at this point is to remove the old hard drive. Anyone have ideas or suggestions? Thanks so much.
