I installed IE5 instead of IE4 on a Win95 PC.
Is there anyway short of uninstalling IE5 and install IE4 then reinstall IE5 to get my toolbars (like the 'quicklaunch toolbar')? Or to make a folder into a toolbar? [sig][/sig]

The only way I have found is to uninstall 5, and then install 4, which gives you the Active Desktop.
Check out the Internet Explorer Forum for more on this topic.

Well your Quick Launch folder should be located as follows:

C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

If you don't have this Dir path in your Windows directory, try adding the above and see what happens. NOTE-Once you have created the last folder ("Quick Launch") make sure to add something in it (shortcut, EXE files, etc.) and reboot to see if it shows-up on the taskbar.

That's all I can offer. Good luck, MiggyD. [sig]

English is too hard to learn, the vowles change too much like come/home, comb/tomb, book/school, high/bye/sty, etc., etc. So should I say Geez or Sheez or Cheeze? hehe.[/sig]
