installed fileset

gurus,

i am aware that ones you commit a certain fileset you cant remove it already unless its only applied. Im just wondering, there are some applications when installed says something like..
need to install bos.rte ver 4.<3
what if im already in the latest level or i have already updated and commited all my filesets.. And this application is asking for a lower one, is there any work aroung for this?
