installed apache but need help !!!!!!!!!

Where do I put the contents for the web. In which directory is all of this located. I am trying to put a website on the apache server. I got to the message that you have sucessfully installed apache. When I am out on the internet. I am using redhat 7.3

Hi Blaze,
You can change this location. You have to change configuration file httpd.conf

for example I have change default to my home directory.
#DocumentRoot "/opt/apache/lib/htdocs"
DocumentRoot "/home/patel/"

Restart the apache and now if you have index.html in /home/sachin then it will open as default page when you type ip_address of this box.

The default for a RPM installation is /var/

http://www/html.
