IPO500v2 R11 & 1XP R11 (on windows 10 pro machine)

can login to 1XP if I login on the 1XP computer. any other users from other computers can not access 1XP

any help would be great!

Install it on a proper Windows server OS - or even better install an IP Office Application server.

Currently you have it installed on an end-user OS. So even if you get it working it will be just so you can discover the next issue and the next.

Server apps go on server operating systems.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

I have installed the One-X software on a Windows Server 2012 R2 machine. I can access the One-X portal on the server, but still cant access from any other computer? is there something im missing or need to check?

is that something that needs to be set up during the initial One-X install? or should this a setting that needs to be changed on the 2012 Server?

when I type the ip address of the One-X server from any user PC, I don't get the login screen from the One-X server?

Firewall or IIS active on server blocking the 8080 or 8443 ports.

turned off firewall, restarted the server, and can now log in from any PC!!! had to make sure the services restarted as I had to manually restart the One-X server

Intrigrant…… thank you SO much!

one more question... have you guys had any problems loading the outlook contacts using the plug-in? everything is working great, but for some reason when I go to load the outlook contacts using the plug-in and I tick the box that loads all the contacts, its says it failed? I can however load by physically clicking on the contact. the only bad thing about that is if I add a new contact, I have to go back and re-click all contacts. I was just wondering if there was a fix or a way to load all contacts at once?

anyhow.... all else is working great! thanks again for the help!

* for sizbut recommendation
I would say application server is the preferred platform unless there is an absolute need for windows server (database integration & vb scripting on VM)not simply lack of Linu knowledge from the customers IT Team (after all it will be you maintaining it not them they should treat as a dedicated appliance like a router or firewall not a PC)

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
