Does anybody know where I can get some documentation about installing mysql on windows 2000? I looked at the stuff in the mysql installation manual, but it's very confusing... I'm running windows 2k with IIS 5 at home, I'm trying to set it up as a test server before having to upload all the stuff to the real domain. Thanks in andance.

With IIS, you should be able to find a makefile.nt in the mysql source distribution. If you run that via the command prompt, that should install it for you.

If you have a copy of VC++ 5 or above (I think), you should be able to compile the source.

Hope this helps,
