Hi,
I am planning to learn COBOL. Can anyone please tell me how can I download COBOL software from the web(any specific sites)for Windows Xp. Are there any special procedures for installing it on Xp? Are there any good free tutorials on the web for COBOL? I will be pleased for the reply. Thanka a lot in advance.

They say it can run on win32 using this

(I'd go for linux)
Both support the ANSI-85 standard.

Micro Focus used to have a student version of their NetExpress COBOL workbench. I know it is a very good tool. I don't know if you can still obtain it.
