hello,
i haven't installed openoffice yet, but i'd like to know if it has the "install on demand" feature that other software has. this feature will let you install a component when you want, opposed to having to install it during the installation process.
for example, if you don't want to install the files that provide support for a particular database during the initial installation and later select an option in the software that requires the files for the particular db, you would be prompted that the files (in this example, for a particular db, like oracle) needed to be installed.
