Hello,<br><br>I am attempting to install an application that was developed in VB6 using Access2000. I have no problems installing it on the development computer via the hard drive but when I attempt to install it from the CD drive (on the same computer) I have problems. I have tried different CD's and different CD (external and internal) drives without luck.<br><br>When I install from the CD it does not go through the process of installing the Data Access (2.1+) components and towards the end of the installation it comes up with the messages "An error occurred while registering the file "C\Windows\System\msrd*35.dll" and also msjet35.dll and dao350.dll. The program then comes up with the error "Path/File Access Error" and de-installs.<br><br>I have checked the programs running in the background and I begin the installations from a fresh computer restart. Both installation applications are identical (on hard drive and CD). Can someone please let me know what may be the problem here.<br><br>Thanks
