Installation Problem

I am trying to instal AccPac Advantage 5.3 30-Days evaluation version, but encounter the problem that the pervasive SQL can not be installed. The installation is under Windows XP. The problems are:

(1)When instal AccPac, the system says: "Do you want to install and run "C:\DOCUME~1\VICTOR~1\LOCALS~\Temp\_is91\dotnetfx.exe"? , "The publisher cannot be determined due to the problems below: The object to be verified is unknown to the Trust Provider."

I select "Yes" to go ahead. does this decision cause the problem?

(2)When I try to install the Pervasive SQL V8 Workgroup (v8.6), the system says:

"The wizard was interrupted before the Pervasive SQL v8 Workgroup (v8.6) could be completely installed.

Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run set again."

So what causes the problem and how can I solve this problem to go ahead to my installation?

(I just changed the Windows system from Home Edition to Professional XP in the computer. Under my previous Windows Home Edition, it is no problem for the installation.

Never upgrade from Home to Professional. Install it fresh.

I am sorry. Could you explain a little more details how to solve the problem? since I have installed the Professional and give up the Home.

Did you _upgrade_ your XP Home to XP Pro, or did you install XP Pro fresh?
