Installation on Win Server 2003 1

I'm trying to install php 5.1.1 on Windows Server 2003.

I've installed it as an ASAPI module.

Whenever I visit a php page on my server, I get

[HTTP Error 401.3 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to an ACL set on the requested resource.]

I've enabled anonymous access and granted correct permissions to the web files.

And I'm now lost - any ideas?

have you set the permissions to allow the iusr_[machinename] account to execute the isapi file and associated dlls' in the php installation directory? (i.e. not web permissions but nt user permissions)?

Yes I did!

I have now removed it all and did a fresh install using the CGI mode. It now works!
