Installation of Informatica 6

Has anyone come across the following error message while installing the Client tools:

At the end of the install an alert pops up with the header

RegSvr32

LoadLibrary("D:\Program Files\Informatica6\Powermart Client\mmcsnap.dll)failed. Get last error returns 0x0000007e

and then while attempting to start the server I get an alert with the header

MMC

Snap-in failed to initialize
Name: not available
CLSID: {AAE2571B-...-....-....}

Hello Snorkel,

I would suggest u to uninstall the Client and clean up the registry manually and then follow the quick start guide to install again.BTW what is the OS and Informatica client version.In Quickstart guide u will find the all relevent info.

when should i use data driven(TREAT SOURCE ROW AS ...)or update.

If you have a Update Strategy in your mapping then Data Driven will be there by Default... Basically used where you do multiple operations in a Mapping like Insert, Delete or Update....
