Does anyone know where i would get an installation and user manual for a norstar compact 1A.??

What is compact 1a?
eg: 6x16 3x8 plus software release.

If your English, it sounds like you've got a very old Compact 6x16?
If you have...
They tend to lose all programming whenever they lose power due to the Lithium Iron battery inside being so old and worn out. There are ways around this if your really desperate to keep it i.e change battery, use UPS etc.

With all due respects we tend not to maintain them anymore as they can be very fragile. My advice would be to get a Compact Plus instead.
