Well I just ran into a bit of a problem. I know the easy solution, but I was wondering what the correct solution was.
I have add about 5 packages to my Windows 2000 MetaFrame XPe FR2 farm. When I built them I set the location to \\servername. Well we ran into a problem today when another site (different domain) tried to install a package. It could not find the \\servername because it wasn't FQDN (\\servername.domain.com). I know if I had entries to the hosts file I could get around this.
But I would like to edit the packages so they point to \\servername.domain.com. I can't seem to find a way to edit them.
Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks,
Matt
