Installation Issue with Petshop 3.0

HI there,
I m trying to install Petshop 3.0 on a
+ Windows 2000 Professional Laptop. With
+ Microsoft net framework version 1.1
+ SQL Server 200 sp3a

When I try to install this I get the following error :

"Failed to register assembly PetShop.BLL, Version=3.2.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=a7987b61c51ca872 -> Access to registry key is denied"

And afterwards just rollbacks the installation.

Needless to say, I am installing with an administrator user.

Also is strange that it need to register an assembly ? I though that assemblies didn’t need to be registered.
