installation hungs during loading aix79xx driver

Hi
To learn the Esx 3, I built a server with the following components

1> Super X7SBA motherboard
2> Adaptec 29320A Scsi card
3> 1 SATA CDROM
4> 1 SATA hard drive
5> 2 SCSI Hard Drive

Installation process hungs after receive " Loading aix79xx driver" message

I think it has something to do with the driver of this Adapter 29320A card.

Would you please let me know how could I get my Vmware server to recognize this 29320A card ?

The 29320A is on the hardware compatibility list.

Some odd things you can try;

change the PCI slot the card is in

swap memory around.
