I divided my 40 GB HD as followed:
3GB primary (Win XP), 4GB also primary unformatted to be for Solaris later on, 32GB primary Extended .I had done partitions by using software Magic Partition
I succeeded to install Win XP and Linux, the boot Loader is LiLo.
First I installed Win XP, and then Linux in Logical partitions(/,/boot,swap,/var,/usr,/home) insid primary extended
When I came to install Solaris 8 ...I used CD number 1 (1/2 software)..
After I went throught the process of installation, like Language and choose country, and view screen color, I came to do the partition and it told me this error message:
"Slice extends beyond end disk"
Is there any solution for that...by the way I tried this link it did not work with my case.
Thanks
