Hi all. I have Windows 2003 server for my DC and XP Pro workstations.

How can I push out .msi and install them without user intervention?

I want to be able to install a piece of software without them having to select anything.

Thanks

Well you can publish it via group policy by creating an OU or use the existing OU that has all your computers that you want to deploy to, create a new GPO, edit it, go into Software Settings, right click in the window and select New > Package, find the msi, it should prompt you if you want to publish it or something along those lines i think. You can also use .mst's if you are able to edit this msi package using a product called "Orca" in which you will be able to predefine some of the settings that would normally require user prompts but this is of course application dependant. Good luck!

Sorry after you go into Software Settings, select the "Software Installations" right below that folder, then* right click in the window on the right.
