I recently acquired a Seagate Barracuda 7200 SATA hard drive. I bought an adapter to install it into an IDE system. There were no instructions. It came with an adapter board that plugs into the motherboard, a jumper for power to the adapter board and one flat 7 pin ribbon cable to go from the adapter board to the drive. Is this all I need or is there a cable for power to the drive that I’m missing.

Seagate Barracuda SATA hard drives normally have a 15-pin power connector. If it did not come with a power cable, then you'll have to buy a 15 pin SATA-to-4 pin Molex power adapter cable to connect the drive to your poser supply.

poser supply" should be "power supply".
Sorry 'bout that.
