Install redhat on Poweredge 2650?

Check the hardware compatibility lists and make sure you have drivers for each compenent, specifically the RAID controller and NIC. I would also call Dell and ask if they know of any known issues with Red Hat 7.3 on that server.

Should just install fine. Dell use Intel network cards and usually the AMI megaraid controller. There is another RAID system some Dells use but i think this is in the 2.4 kernel so should work fine too.
I've used both controllers with Linux and have had no problems.
i had some problems with the broadcom 1Gb copper ethernet cards but there are probably stable drivers out now and maybe are in the kernel that ships with 7.3
