Install Printer

I am trying to install a printer. I want to be able to chose the driver from the built in drivers in Vista, however, when I get to the "install the printer driver" screen, where it tells me to choose the make and model of my printer, I do not get the list of in-built drivers.

Does anyone know how I can get the list of inbuilt drivers?

I think (but are not sure) you have to click on the model of your printer only and if there are various drivers available then a following window should list them but only if there is more than one available. Otherwise the Add Printer Wizard just states that it will install the printer with the only available driver it has listed for that particular model.

Along the way there should be an option for you to specify that you have a Disk before you actually select any printer, you can use that option to Browse to any drivers that you have available that are not included in Vista.

I was looking for a way to be able to select a different driver for the printer, as you used to be able to do in XP.
Currently our company is tied to using an outdated MIS system, and the system does not print using newer printer drivers.

I want to be able to select a HP Laserjet 4 driver, no matter whaat the printer is (which you use to be able to do in XP).
