install PHP as apache module

you need to be more specific. what kind of problems are you getting when you try to install php as an apache module?
i recently got to grips with installing programs on linux web servers, and php and mysql were my first accomplishments.
i know that the apache module version of PHP is harder to set up than the cgi version, but you need to explain what you have tried to do so far, what platform you are using, error messages etc for anyone to be able to help... Andres Jugnarain

Thanks for your response! I can run php as apache module on windows now.
The reason is i didnot add the line below in httpd.conf:
LoadModule php4_module modules/php4apache.dll
