Hi

I have a CD-ROM with 8.1.6 and lost the book with the instructions and can't find it. Can someone give me clear instructions how to install the RDBMS. I have installed and used Oracle 8i, 9i and 10g on Windows 2000 Pro & Server and XP but am finding it a hard task to install it under UNIX.

If you want to try your hand at Oracle 9i or 10g on Linux, which is free as long as you are not using it for production, see the following link.
