How are you installing it? From the ports? From /stand/sysinstall, from source?

And which Netscape? 4.x or 6.x

I am instaling it from the ports collection like this
#cd /usr/ports/#make install
and then he is tring to get this from the ports
he cant find it there and later he is trying to get it from the ftp site and he cant get it also after all that i get this Error code 1 massege

Thank

I have to ask, did you try to install this as user 'root' or as a regular user on the system?

If you don't install as "root" from the ports collection, you have to make sure you have read/write/execute permissions in the ports directory, as whatever user you are installing. This is because otherwise you cannot save the FTP'd files, and compile.

I believe you have to do "make", and then "make install".

Thanks

Every thing is ok now
i instaled netscape with /stand/sysinstall

Thank
