Install MRTG on SESU 9.3

I try install MRTG to run over Linux SUSE 9.3, so I try the steps that explain in the unix-guide.html, but when install mrtg get error about gd lib.

I am newbies with Linux, Who have tips to help ?.

gd is a graphic library for php, you need to install it.

I compiled mrtg-2.13.0rc4 on SLES9 just the other day.

I had problems with the gd and gd-devel libraries that come with SLES9, and also had trouble compiling gd-2.0.33, so I downloaded the source of gd-1.8.4 instead and used that.

I just compiled it in a directory beside the MRTG source and configured MRTG using ./configure --with-gd=../gd-1.8.4.
