Hi

I need to install the 'Library database' for a Tranact Sql course, I have found the following on the courseware CD and am not sure how to do this please advise me.

------------------------------------------------------------
Microsoft SQL Server 2000
Course 2071A

Microsoft Official Curriculum (c) Microsoft Corporation, 2000
------------------------------------------------------------
BLDLIB.CMD

This file builds the library case study database.
Edit Creabase.sql if you want the database created on a path other than
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Data.

To execute, type: BLDLIB
------------------------------------------------------------

I have checked the path given above and it is not listed in that there.

Thanks in advance

I believe what the sentance is trying to say is that it will create the database file in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Data directory. I am not sure if it will create the directory if it does not exist.

You may want to edit the Creabase.sql file and enter a valid directory structure that already exists on your system.

Let us know if this works!

Thanks

J. Kusch
