Install JRE silently

Hello, I am trying to run the following code in shell

j2re-1_4_2_04-windows-i586-p.exe /s /v"/qn IEXPLORER=1
ADDLOCAL=ALL UPDATE=1 /L C:\jre.log"

and detect when the install is finished. I write a code as following.
