I was wondering if anyone knows how to/or if it is possible, to install a version of IE without having to reboot the PC?
If anyone has any ideas, they would be greatly appreciated.

I wonder where you come up with that option?
It's like replacing your cars engine without you wanting to turn it off.???
IE is part of the OS, there is no way you are going to be able to do that.
Besides, what's wrong with rebooting a PC? The solution is out there. [morning]

Thank you for the information.
I was not aware that IE was so deeply integrated with the OS. I assumed it was a software package that was bundled with Windows. I thought that it was a separate app, similar to Netscape, which Bill was nice enough to add in with Windows. If I can`t do it without rebooting then that is the way it will be.

To answer your question "what's wrong with rebooting a PC?"
Nothing. If it is 1 PC or maybe 5. But when there is 150, it becomes a bit of a harder job.

Thank you for the information.

Let those 150 users do it, so you don't have to run around. The solution is out there. [morning]
