install FP on new laptop

I tried to install FP on my new laptop and I get a message that it cannot find an eligible product. I assume that my FP 2002 was an up grade version however I cannot locate my FP98 disk to install first. Are there any files I can transfer from my old computer to make FP2002 think FP98 was already installed on the new computer?
