Install Fedora 5 on VMware workstation

Hello I am new to the Linux world and was trying to install Fedora 5 on WMware workstation 5. I am having some trouble right off the bat.

It seems that vmware does not seem my hard drive?

I get the error:

no devices found.
an error has occurred no valid devices were found on whiche to create new file systesm. please checkyour hardware for the cause of this problem.


Has anyone experienced this before.

Make sure you create your disk with the Buslogic controller, the LSI doesn't have a driver. Else use and IDE controller.

Had to use IDE then it worked.
