Hi all,

Trying to install a perl pgm here & it fails on my machine with below error:

XML::SAX must be installed first at....
ppm install failed: Command exits with 2:
C:\Perl\bin\perl.exe install_script
stopped

P.S I'm using activestate perl.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance
David

It would appear that the script you are trying to run uses the XML::SAX module and this therefore needs to be installed before you can run it.

Open a command window and enter 'ppm'. The perl package manager gui should open. View 'all packages', highlight XML-SAX, then click 'Mark for install' and 'run marked action'. Your script should then run.
