Our current structure is...
2003 Ad with multiple sites. The remote sites are very small.
One 2003 Exchange server on server 2003.
Will bring up two new exchange 2007 servers on a yet to be determined OS.
I just purchased two new books on exchange 2007 and each book goes into great detail about installing, managing and configuring Exchange 2007 on a windows 2003 64 bit server. My initial plan was to install Exchange 2007 on server 2008 so that I would not have to revisit this project for several years.
What OS do I want to use here? It sounds like most people are still installing on server 2003 and have not made the leap to 2008 server. Is there a reason for this?
What would you recommend? For what it is worth, we currently do not have any 2008 servers running in our domain. Everything is windows 2003 minus two 2k servers.
Thanks in advance for your valued input
