Install Excel2002 along existing Excel2000

For OLAP purposes we want to test the use of Excel2002 (which features enhanced OLAP support)
Is it possible to install Excel2002 on a users machine that already has Excel2000 installed.
Do we need to create another partion perhaps?

I would advise you to install MS Virtual PC and install your test version of Excel2002 on that.

This means install Virtual PC, install whatever os you required (2k, XP, 98) and then install your office version.

Hi blom0344,

If you have VPC then it will give you a separate environment which can be good for testing but to answer your question you shouldn't have any problems installing 2002 on the same machine as 2000 (provided 2000 is/was installed first) - and providing, of course, that you are running Windows XP.

I also have both versions on my computer. I never encounterd problems.
