Install DX9c?

I created an MSI for DX9 a while ago and it has worked fine untill now, the problem is that we need to move to 9c and as DX9 cannot usually be uninstalled i'm a bit confused about how to remove it. Shall i remove it from the MSI list on the OU so it 'uninstalls' but it doesn't really then add the new MSI or should i leave it in the list and just add the DX9c MSI?

Any ideas?
