Install Crystal Report Viewer 9 across all workstations

Our workstation's do not have priveleges to download and install active x. Is there a way to push the install of this active x to workstations? Could we simply copy the dll to the workstations?

We are using Crystal Enterprise 9.

Speak to your System Administrators, they probably have a tool in place for doing this, it's very common.

And no, copying DLLs won't do it.

Did you ever figure out how to push the ActiveX viewer to user workstations? We are having the same issue with no luck from BO. Thanks!

We use the Microsoft System Management Server (SMS) to handle application distribution to the desktops.

You have to compile silent-install packages for the ActiveX viewers from the BOBJ packages.
