For the third time sitting with peripherals and my teeth in my mouth, as XP 64 refuses to accept Corex drivers. Need the product. Getting old fast. This is certainly an argument against going to Vista ..getting all the peripherals to work with 64 bit is a challenge.

Corex does deliver a recognizable driver with their update, but XP won't acknowledge it (Doesn't even say it's not for 64 bit this time.)

Speak again with manufacturer tomorrow (they seem blisfully unaware of the issue and suggest that one look for the extracted files in the temp file, while the upgrade download is an exe - ergo, no extracted files). If anyone has already fought this battle, I'd appreciate the solution. Otherwise I will either post here that it is hopeless, or how to do it.

Thanks. It's covered.

I called them, and they do have a driver. It is not well presented on their web site (they seem to know this and are doing the getting around to it thing probably everyone is doing with Vista coming up.) I have found the appropriate update with driver, and all is running well.

I was seriously considering dual boot, but it would be annoying.

There is a funny tv ad with the guy playing the PC telling the guy who plays the Mac going into surgery ("They have to replace everything") and telling the Mac guy that he wants him to have his peripherals if he doesn't make it. I really identify with that spot.
